BRB forever swooning over this dreamy beach surprise proposal for Matt and Nia. 🥹 The perfect golden hour sunset, a romantic picnic set up with a custom charcuterie board, bubbly champagne, and "YES" a thousand times over!
THE PLANNING
Matt set up a call with me to chat and go over all the details and told me he booked my amazing friend Wailea who runs Intimate Occasions, the best of the best luxury picnic setups on island. 🥹 He wanted to go ahead and get everything booked and the special day couldn't come soon enough!!
When I got to the beach it was so nice to see and work with Wailea again!! Her and her amazing dad are such a power duo and are seriously a dream team when it comes to creating the most beautiful setups for such special moments ❤️ She set up a minimal romantic 'marry me' sign with some tropical florals, rose petals, and the cutest intimate beach picnic + charcuterie board set up. It was literally perfect 😭
THE PROPOSAL
They walked down to the beach and Nia's reaction was so genuine and sweet! She was SO surprised and over the moon happy when he got down on one knee!! She couldn't stop showing her ring off, looking down at her hand during the session, and loving on her soon to be hubby. 🥹 She was literally just so stoked to get engaged!
They popped some champagne, enjoyed the sunset, and fed each other grapes from the characterize box. Wailea from Intimate Occasions even gave her the most beautiful earrings and a hibiscus flower for her hair and Mia straight up turned into a Hawaiian goddess hahaha 😍 We took some romantic flash photos at sunset, they called their families and friends to give them a quick update, and just basked in that newly engaged energy!
The BIGGEST congratulations to these two! Shooting their proposal was an absolute dream and I can't wait to see what's next for y'all 😍

During this entire session, she was hyping them up alongside me😆 and taking behind-the-scenes videos of them the whole time!! It was so thoughtful and I loved having her there to bring all of the good vibes.
