Surprise Beach Proposal Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi


More surprise proposals like THIS please. ❤️ Zack & Julia’s proposal was the sweetest and dreamiest moment this summer! The sun was glowing, the beach was empty, and it was genuinely such a romantic and intimate moment for these two getting engaged in Hawaii.

THE STORY

My boyfriend Keej and I met Zack at our gym F45 and instantly became good friends. It's where Zack was coaching and eventually that’s where he met Julia too🥹 So sweet, right?! (Keej is also convinced that he's the reason that Zack and Julia ended up engaged because he encouraged Julia to keep her gym membership when she was considering canceling it, which I love 😂)


Fast forward to the summer of 2024 and Zack reached out to me to asking to capture his surprise proposal! When I tell you I was over the MOON because it truly was such a beautiful full circle moment for everyone❤️


It was in the works for a bit but I ended up being on the mainland when it happened so I had my main gal @rosedophotography capture it for me and it was *chef’s kiss*. She captured the proposal and I handled everything else like editing, planning, communication, and gallery delivery.


THE PROPOSAL

Zack wanted it to be COMPLETELY intimate and just the two of them, so he didn’t even want Julia to know a photographer was there at all to capture the moment. He initially meant to surprise Julia with these photos on their wedding day, but she ended up finding out after the fact, all good though😂 It was still SUCH a surprise for her and couldn't have been more special.


I loved that idea so much because I really believe when it’s just the two of you with no one around, you can truly be yourselves and that’s when the real emotion flows.


I adored this concept and loved the idea of having a proposal captured without the full photoshoot or intervening with more photos and honestly want to push for more proposals like this!!! It truly allows you to embrace the authentic moment and just being with each other.
