Hale Koa Estate Wedding

Ahhh so obsessed with these two and this wedding day at Hale Koa Estate in Oahu Hawaii! Kaleo & Melissa's wedding was a love filled day surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was also the PERFECT venue because it's a private villa that can literally sleep up to 35 people with a pool, beach access, and literally everything you could ask for in a wedding venue. 😝

THE VENUE

SUCH A DREAM VENUE. It's luxurious, intimate, tropical, and romantic. The venue can hold up to 350 guests 🤯 with a private villa mansion that can sleep up t0 35 guests so you can book the entire house for all of your friends and family!! Even their basic wedding package includes things like the tent, tables, chairs, AV equipment, arch, lighting, security, shuttle service, and parking assistance. They literally handle it ALLLL: including setup and breakdown, making your experience completely stress free, so you can cherish the big and small moments with your LOVED ONES.

Literally everything is all in one place which is honestly the perfect spot to get married to have an entire wedding weekend celebration in an intimate and private location. I couldn't recommend them enough. They are truly there for their couples and it's a 10/10 experience. 😭

THE COUPLE

Kaleo & Melissa originally shot with me a couple of years ago for Christmas minis sessions at Aloha paradise studio in Ewa beach!! They brought their little dog and it was so freaking cute. They ended up loving the photos and liked working with me and saw that I was having a Black Friday sale that year and they booked me for their wedding day!! Brb crying it's always the best compliment. 😭

It was a super chill day and honestly so genuine from the start to the end. Kaleo is a SUPER happy, fun, and uplifting, human being that was just loving on everybody - the aloha spirit literally LIVES within him. So it was super sweet to see that he was super emotional right before seeing Melissa for their first look . The tears were REAL after seeing how beautiful his future wife was and I was definitely tearing up behind the camera 😭 It was a really intimate and sweet moment with just the two of them and it was so sweet to capture .

Not only is it probs the comfiest wedding shoe you could wear but it's such a cute and practical wav to incorporate a personalization that feels romantic, cohesive, and unique to your love story! And then you get to keep them and wear them long after the day has come and gone, how special!!

Keej actually did this for me one year for my birthday, customizing Nike's with my name on the back and red & white shoes to match a pair of his I've admired for years, and still today it's one of my favorite (& comfiest (😜) shoes!! Seriously what a sweet gift to give your partner for any occasion but especially your wedding day!

These two got their wedding date and name printed on their shoes, and Melissa's shoes had PEARLS on them omg how glam. ✨ But you can also hand paint the nike swoosh your wedding colors or change the laces to match the vibe of your wedding day if you wanted!!
